Pharmacy & Prescription Policy

Aslam Pharmacy is the on-site pharmacy at Aslam Clinic, Aslam Clinic & Al-Shifa Laser Eye Center, Mohalla Masjid Siddique, Circular Road, Jalalpur Jattan. It is a physical pharmacy with a website, not an internet pharmacy: every order is dispensed from this counter by our own staff.

A digital platform that sells or delivers medicine is held to the same standards as a counter — licensing, pharmacist oversight, storage, record-keeping and advertising. We publish our licence details here so you can check them rather than take our word for it.

• Adding a medicine to the basket does not buy it. Pressing “Order on WhatsApp” sends the pharmacist a list.
• The pharmacist confirms availability, the final price, and — for a prescription-only medicine — your prescription, before anything is prepared.
• There is no online payment. You pay at the counter or on delivery.
• A sale exists only once the pharmacist has confirmed it in the WhatsApp thread.

• The prescription must be legible and current, and must name the prescriber and their registration.
• The pharmacist checks the medicine, the strength, the quantity and the interactions against what else you are taking — so tell us, including herbal and over-the-counter remedies.
• Controlled and narcotic medicines are dispensed strictly under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act and DRAP rules, against an original prescription presented in person. They are never delivered.
• We refuse antibiotics without a prescription. Antibiotic resistance is a public-health problem this pharmacy will not contribute to, and being asked repeatedly will not change the answer.
• Prescription photographs are used to dispense and to keep the sale record the rules require, and for nothing else.

• Prices on the shelf are the counter prices in Pakistani rupees at the time of publication, inclusive of tax where it applies.
• They can change — DRAP price notifications, a manufacturer's revision, a new batch. The price confirmed in your WhatsApp thread is the one that applies to your order.
• Where a page shows a struck-through price, that is the previous published price at this pharmacy, not a competitor's.
• If a listed price is obviously wrong, we tell you before dispensing rather than charging the mistake.

• Same-day delivery inside Jalalpur Jattan for orders confirmed before 6 PM, subject to the delivery fee and free-delivery threshold shown in the basket.
• Cold-chain medicines — insulin among them — are delivered locally, in an insulated pack, and are not sent long distance.
• Someone aged 18 or over must receive the delivery. For a prescription-only medicine, our rider checks the name on the order.
• We do not export medicines, and we do not deliver outside Pakistan.

• Check what you are given before you accept it — the medicine, the strength, the quantity and the expiry.
• We replace or refund in full where we dispensed the wrong item, where the pack was damaged, where it was short-dated, or where it is later recalled.
• Tell us within 48 hours for a dispensing error, and immediately for anything that looks wrong with the pack.
• On a DRAP recall we stop the line the same day and contact everyone we have a record of supplying it to.
• Return unused or expired medicines to the counter for safe disposal. Please do not put them in household waste.

If a medicine makes you unwell, stop and contact us or a doctor. Tell us at complaints@aslam.clinic and we will report it to DRAP's national pharmacovigilance centre — reporting is how a rare harm becomes a known one.

We buy only from licensed distributors and keep the batch records the rules require. If you suspect anything we supplied is counterfeit or substandard, bring the pack back with the receipt. We will investigate it, refund it, and report it.

• Leaflet content follows the manufacturer's approved literature and DRAP-registered product information. We do not write our own claims.
• No medicine is described as a cure, and none is promoted for a use it is not registered for.
• No prescription-only medicine is advertised to the public: those pages exist so a patient who already holds a prescription can check the price, the pack and the leaflet.
• Nothing on the shelf is sponsored, and no manufacturer pays for placement.
